Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 18, 2026

IARANYC LLC (“iara,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates iara.nyc and related pages (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you fill out a form on the Site — for example, our email signup, a contact form, or a future reservation or gift card request — we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and any message content.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider (Framer) and analytics services (including Google Analytics 4) automatically collect certain information about your device and visit, including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and dates and times of access. This information is collected through cookies, log files, and similar technologies.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries and provide the information or services you request; send you marketing emails about iara — new openings, seasonal menu updates, events, and news — after you sign up through our email form; understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it; protect the security and integrity of the Site and our business; and comply with legal obligations.

Marketing emails. When you enter your email address on our Site, you agree to receive marketing emails from iara. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time by clicking that link or by emailing contact@iara.nyc. We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, including our physical mailing address in every marketing email.

Cookies and tracking technologies

The Site uses cookies to remember your preferences, measure how visitors interact with the Site through Google Analytics 4 and Framer analytics, and improve your experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit some features. You may also opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Service providers

We share limited information with the third-party service providers we rely on to run the Site and our business. Current providers include: Framer (hosting and analytics), Google Analytics 4 (visitor analytics), Adobe Fonts / Typekit (fonts), and Klaviyo (email marketing, once enabled). We may add reservation, ordering, or payment providers as our business grows and will update this Policy when we do.

No sale or share of personal information

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Your choices

Regardless of where you live, you may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email or by emailing contact@iara.nyc; ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you; or control cookies through your browser. If you are a resident of California, the EEA, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose law grants you additional rights regarding your personal information, email contact@iara.nyc and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please email contact@iara.nyc.

Data security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect, consistent with the requirements of the New York SHIELD Act (N.Y. Gen. Bus. Law §899-bb). No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to serve the purposes described above, or as required by law. Email list data is kept until you unsubscribe. Inquiry and reservation information is generally kept for up to 24 months after your last interaction, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Third-party links

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Culinary Agents. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.

Accessibility

We strive to make iara.nyc accessible to all guests. If you experience any difficulty accessing content, please contact contact@iara.nyc and we will work to provide the information in an accessible format.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice through the Site or by other reasonable means.
